Start website design, to include labels and brand www.wix.com try and get the website name to have your brand name - You need to create a gmail for your brand for this so for eg if your artist or magazine is called undecided you set up an email called undecided@gmail.com and then you would use this email to set up your wix account. Templates are allowed but they will limit your design a bit. Start from scratch if you're feeling ambitious and have lots of ideas.

HALF TERM

Week ending:

Editing begins, audio visual filmed for websites. For your websites, regardless of brief chosen you need to include about a minute of audiovisual ( a video ). It can be an interview with your artist/cast/director/editor/interviewees...keep in the back of your mind.

Halfway evaluation presentations - gather feedback and upload

More than halfway evaluation. First draft of production - website articles/dvd covers uploaded
Teacher and peer feedback commencing the following week.
Reflect upon and upload to slides.

Amend your statement of aims to reflect finished product intentions.

First draft productions - music videos, magazines and tv docs

NEA planning

NEA pitch

You are planning your NEA pitch to present on Tuesday 7th September. 

Firstly, have a look at the brief and the statement of intent to guide you with your planning.

Then create a pitch and add to your NEA research and planning slides. Make it very visual we should get a clear idea of what you're thinking and your influences. The presentation must include the following:

For magazines:

 - magazine ideas (3 different kinds)

- name ideas of mag

- colour scheme fonts

- what kind of real life magazine (any particular focus?) 

- what areas will be included in the contents pages (show some influences)

- ideas for front covers - choose from real magazines

- representations and locations, models and outfit ideas

 

For music videos/TV:

 - song choices – 3/ programme ideas

- name of artist band/ programme

- style (find similar looking videos)

- performance, narrative, concept or a mixture

- costume/location ideas

- lyrics/script

- representations and locations
